'Vertical City' deals with a text about a certain Type of art: referential art or maybe discursive art. Writing this essay marked the beginning of the artistic practice. There is a room with classical 'paintings' (with text on it) and a reading-/discussion room with the complete text and some more books, mainly postmodern/poststructualist stuff by Deleuze and Guattari.
'Vertical City' contains its own documentation and is thus self-referential. The visitors read and discuss and become part of the work.
